Position: SAP BASIS Trainer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive training sessions on SAP BASIS, covering both basic and advanced administration concepts.
  • Develop and maintain detailed training materials, including manuals, presentations, hands-on exercises, and real-world case studies tailored to SAP BASIS.
  • Provide training on various aspects of SAP BASIS, including system administration, user and authorization management, system monitoring, performance tuning, transport management, and database administration.
  • Teach trainees how to handle system installations, configurations, upgrades, patches, and troubleshooting.
  • Deliver practical, project-based training sessions to ensure trainees gain hands-on experience with SAP BASIS activities.
  • Evaluate trainees’ understanding and progress through assessments, quizzes, and feedback sessions.
  • Keep the training curriculum up-to-date with the latest developments and updates in SAP BASIS to ensure relevance and accuracy.
  • Assist trainees in understanding complex administration scenarios and resolving queries related to SAP BASIS.

Requirements:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with SAP BASIS administration in implementation, support, or consulting roles.
    • Proven experience as an SAP trainer or instructor, particularly in SAP BASIS, is highly desirable.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Certification:
    • SAP BASIS certification is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Skills:
    • In-depth knowledge of SAP BASIS components, including system administration, database management, operating system management, SAP installations, and upgrades.
    • Hands-on experience with SAP systems like ECC, S/4HANA, NetWeaver, and Solution Manager.
    • Strong understanding of database administration for SAP-supported databases (such as Oracle, HANA, SQL Server, and DB2).
    • Familiarity with various operating systems, including Unix/Linux and Windows, in the context of SAP environments.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey technical information to a diverse audience.
    • Ability to create engaging and effective training materials tailored to different learning styles and levels of experience.
    • Proficiency in conducting both in-person and virtual training sessions.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Ability to adapt training methodologies to suit different learning styles and levels of experience.
    • Experience with developing e-learning modules and using various training technologies is an advantage.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address trainee queries and provide solutions for real-time scenarios.
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple training programs simultaneously.
    • Willingness to travel for on-site training sessions, if required.
